Hello Albion District

My name is Barbara Parker; I am your District Lay Leader.

Thanks so much to all of the Lay Leaders who were able to attend the conference training event for Lay Leaders on November 7th in Lansing. It was a very informative session & I was able to visit with some of you.

If your schedule prevented you from attending, please put January 23, 2010 on your calendar. We are planning to have a short district conference and training work shops for church officers. We will use many of the Lay Leader materials at this meeting.

I am interested in knowing what I can do to be of assistance to Lay Leaders and other officers in our churches. Please feel free to contact me with questions. Remember the Book of Discipline has lots of information for all church officers, but it is a comfort to ask someone when we try to interpret some of the information.
